Discover the KW SMART Mat Remover, designed to remove solid mats of tangled fur, especially effective on neutered animals with coat changes.
Instructions: Removing dense tangles: Cut with short strokes into the tangled coat, rotating with the wrist. Never force the KW Smart Mat Remover through the fur, as this is not only uncomfortable for the animal, but also ineffective.
Removing tangled knots: Hold the coat at the hair roots to avoid pulling the skin. Work from the outer hair ends towards the roots using short movements. Cut using the KW Smart Mat Remover alternating with brushing using a KW Soft Carding Brush to protect the coat as much as possible.
Tip: Before using the KW Smart Mat Remover, apply some detangling spray to the fur to make untangling knots easier.
Note: For vulnerable areas or fine hair, use scissors and consider consulting a professional groomer for heavily tangled coats. Use caution near sensitive areas and keep out of reach of children.
